Street View Mapping Using Mobile Sensory Platform
Hraboš, Šimon ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Veľas, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to add a spherical video camera into the existing mapping system as an extension for recording the panoramic video. The secondary task is to generate an interactive panoramic tour displaying the recorded image data. Original application for area mapping captures the geometry using the lasers into 3D model. The main benefit of panoramic tour is improvement of visual inspection and more detailed view of recorded image data. The solution described in this thesis consists of two parts: recording of panoramic video and displaying it using virtual tour. The result is a multi-platform and web-based solution designed for common users.
Modelling and simulation in aviation
Prešinský, Ján ; Nechvátal, Luděk (referee) ; Zatočilová, Jitka (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on specifying the orientation of aircraft in normal Earth- xed frame. It is devoted to Euler angles representation and quaternions representation. Moreover, it introduces the equations of motion with 3 and 6 degrees of freedom and proposes the numerical method for solving these equations, which are expressed by the set of non-linear diferential equations.
Multicopter - dynamical model
Musil, Filip ; Němeček, Jakub (referee) ; Kraus, David (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis Multicopter - dynamic model deals with basic principles of multicopter flight and determining the position in space. Next part of the thesis is dedicated to the search of possible methods of compilation of dynamic model and implementation in Matlab/Simulink environment. The aim of this work is compilation of simplified dynamic model of multicopter which aims approximate real behavior in space.
9DOF sensor for weapon orientation measurement
Růžička, Jiří ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Šedivá, Soňa (advisor)
This thesis deals with multi-axis position sensors, their nature and individual parts and types of these sensors. It is outlined their historical origin and the most used modern types, such as micro-electro-mechanical sensors. Further, the properties of these sensors, error sources and their compensation are discussed. Output data formats are also discussed here, such as Euler angles, their calculation and applications. The selected sensor is implemented in the simulator electronics, and the graphical application demonstrates its functions.
Head Pose Estimation and Tracking
Modeling of rigid body rotation movement in space
Komůrková, Lucia ; Kotoul, Michal (referee) ; Franců, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on rotation movement of rigid body in space. It is described rotation matrices and their characteristics. It is devoted to Euler angles representation of rotation in space and introduced Euler kinematic and dynamic equations. Moreover, it indicates the numerical and analytical method for solving these equations for special types of flywheels.
Finger Position Tracking in 3D Space
Hegr, Miloš ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Malaník, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this work is to create a universal system for measuring data describing position in 3D space. This paper provides a theoretical overview of position description in 3D space and shows the possibilities of position reconstruction from sensor data. It gives a closer look at the RingOne hardware device, and finally proposes and implements a system for finger position reconstruction using this device. This system consists of the firmware for the RingOne device, a C language library allowing easy communication with the measuring device and a protocol defining the way data is transmitted and how the measuring device is configured. This work is also complemented by a modified Spacenavd driver for easy presentation of the measured data.

Graphics Demo with Inverse Kinematics
Kárníková, Pavlína ; Jošth, Radovan (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This work deals with the creation of a graphic demo with the use of inverse kinematics. It explains the motivations that led to the creation of the demo; it briefly mentions the history of the demo as well as the principles of animation. It describes in detail the fundamentals of inverse kinematics as well as the terminology needed for the understanding of inverse kinematics. It also includes some selected algorithms. The issue of inverse kinematics is further developed in the part of the work where the principles of skinning are being described. The principles of the collision detection are also mentioned here. The conclusion consists of a detailed explanation of some of the techniques used in graphic demo, such as the L-systems or procedural textures.
